How it works
It’s a new day for payments—one where you can earn the credit card rewards you love, choose the number of installments, and gain a level of control that traditional “buy now, pay later” providers can’t – or won’t – give you.
Splitit guarantees your purchase, by placing a hold on your credit card, while the total amount is outstanding. This is not a payment, it’s just a pre-authorization that allows you to pay off your balance over time, before accruing any interest. Just pay as you go and Splitit will re-authorize the hold and reduce the amount each month.

What is Splitit?Splitit is our preferred payment partner. They enable you to pay for purchases with an existing credit card by splitting the cost into interest and fee-free monthly payments, without additional credit checks, registrations or applications.
What credit cards do Splitit partner with?Splitit currently partners with Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Union Pay credit cards.
Can I pay with a debit card?No, unfortunately not. We are only able to accept credit cards at the present time.
Is there an application process to use Splitit?Splitit requires no application or registration. You use your existing Visa or MasterCard credit card. Therefore, there is no credit check or marks on your credit history.
How do I track my instalments?When you make a purchase using Splitit, you will be asked to provide your email. Splitit sends you credentials so you can log in to the Splitit consumer portal to check your instalment status and view other information regarding your purchase. Splitit will also email you after each successful instalment charge.
Can I pay off my instalments early?Yes, you can. This option is available on your Splitit consumer portal with no fees or penalties.

Do I use a card I already have?Yes. Splitit helps consumers use their existing credit card to turn purchases into smaller, monthly payments. The full amount of your purchase is authorized (held) on your credit card to guarantee future payments so you need to have at least that amount in available credit on your card. The authorization amount reduces with each monthly payment you make until the balance is cleared and we renew these authorizations periodically. The previous authorization is removed as soon as we receive a new one.
What if my card is going to expire in the middle of payments?Your card must have at least 6 months before the expiry date to be used with Splitit.
What if my card gets lost or stolen?If something happens to your card, please do the following: Contact your card company to report the card lost. Visit the Splitit portal and update your payment plan with another card. Go to the “payment plan information” tab, select your payment plan, and click “update card details.” Enter the new card details and click “confirm.” If you are having any trouble, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
