Award-Winning R18 Plus Insulation System
Oasis Spas are constructed to the highest standards and are the only tubs to feature the award-winning R18 Plus full-foam insulation system. R18 insulation comprises 5 steps that effectively lock heat into the tub and prevent it escaping to the atmosphere. Keeping heat inside the tub means far less heating and vast savings over standard tubs. If you’re looking for a hot tub that’s as luxurious as they come, but cheap to run, nothing else comes close.
STEP 1
LUCITE 6-LAYER ACRYLIC SHELL
The thickest and strongest acrylic available, ensuring strength, rigidity, a long-lasting surface and supreme heat retention.
STEP 2
30mm CLOSED CELL FOAM INSULATION
Oasis Spas insulate the entire shell with a full 30mm layer of closed-cell eco-foam insulation. This foam is highly efficient and the first step to locking in heat.
STEP 3
OPEN CELL FULL FOAM INSULATION
Once all the internal pipework is installed and tested, the entire cabinet of the hot tub is then completely filled with open-cell polyurethane foam, providing incredible thermal efficiency,
STEP 4
15mm SIDE PANEL INSULATION
Each side of the cabinet is lined with custom-fitted 15mm high-density foam panels. These panels add on an extra layer of thermal protection, preventing ambient heat loss.
STEP 5
TWIN FOAM SILVER FOIL INSULATION
As a final step, a layer pf 5mm twin silver foil insulation foam sheeting is applied to each side panel.
